When I think about HD Retro Clothing values and believes the simple phrase, “Vintage Vibes NOT Vintage Values.”
Throwback clothing sometimes invokes the idea of “wanting to live in the good ol days.” But in an era where women had even less equality (and we still aren’t equal), more racism, homophobia, misogyny, and much less acceptance, we definitely don’t want to go back to those values. There is still so much work to do but we believe in elevating equity and inclusion. These are our values and beliefs.
To honor the different cultures and inspirations for HD Retro Clothing, $10 from every clothing sale will be donated to a non-profit. These non-profits reflect the values of this brand of inclusiveness. Donations will be made on a total monthly basis. Below are the current non-profits being donated to:
- The American Civil Liberties Union
- Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon
- RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network)
- National Alliance on Mental Illness
- Planned Parenthood
- South Pacific Islanders Organization
- GLAAD
- Oregon Latino Health Coalition
